IKEA Canada Summary Report 2023
For the second year in a row, we were asked to design IKEA Canada’s annual report. Less of a financial snapshot, the report is brimming with information on what IKEA Canada has done as a business outside of their stores in 2023. Community connection, affordability challenges, bettering their impact on the environment, supporting their co-workers — IKEA Canada is truly a leader in business, in terms of taking action on their self-imposed responsibilities. We created both print and digital (and accessible!) versions in both English and French — you can download the entire reports here.
Simple Symbols
IKEA Canada keeps their branding extremely simple (much like their furniture!) but since they wanted to celebrate their 80th year of innovating, we wanted to nod to the past. We were able to grab the shape of an iconic table from the Nytillverkad collection and use it as a strategic callout — all without taking away from IKEA’s branding.
There are one heck of a lot of details that go into a report like this. I want to give a huge shoutout to my Art Director Andrea Ceolato who was essential to making this report something to be proud of. I am also grateful for the team at IKEA Canada who are gracious, thoughtful and wonderful to work with. As they say in Swedish, “Tack!”
